Clifford A. “Cliffy” George, age 2, of 7492 Donnelly Road, Almond, NY, died Wednesday afternoon (August 7, 2013) at St. James Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance after being ill at home.
Born in Hornell on April 8, 2011, he was the son of Andrew & Heather (Richards) George.
Although he was only on this earth for a short time, Cliffy touched the hearts of everyone. He had an infectious smile and laugh. Cliffy was “easy going” and loved playing with his toy cars and drums. He will always be loved — he will never be forgotten — and he will be sadly missed by his family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John George.
Surviving are his parents, Andrew & Heather George of Almond; his sister, Stella George at home; paternal grandmother, Bonnie George of Almond; maternal grandmother, Myra Meunier of Ogdensburg; maternal grandfather, John (Brenda) Meunier of Ogdensburg; his aunts & uncles, John George, Elizabeth (Ed) Smith, Craig Meunier, Adam Meunier & Abbi Meunier; his cousins, Nixy Wing, Erin Smith, Lucas Cady & Travis Cady.
The family of Clifford A. “Cliffy” George will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Almond, NY.
