Gracie Elizabeth Whiteman, newborn daughter of Joseph & Jean (Leadbeater) Whitemen of 49 Bemis Ave., Hornell, died shortly after being born on December 3, 2013.
Although Gracie was only on this earth for 27 short minutes, she was truly loved & adored. She touched the lives of everyone, including family, friends and the medical staff at Strong Memorial Hospital. She is now an Angel in Heaven looking down on all of us!
Surviving are her parents, Joe & Jean Whiteman; her brother, Ethan and her sister, Makayla; maternal grandparents, Tammy & Howard Leadbeater of Corning; paternal grandparents, Karen (Bill) Sutfin of Hornell and David (Lisa) Whiteman of Hornell; maternal great-grandfather, Howard Leadbeater SR of Cameron; maternal great-grandmother, Landonia Leadbeater of Corning; paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Knight of Canisteo; her Godparents, heather Sanford and Jeremiah Wilder; many aunts, uncles & cousins.
A Memorial Service for Gracie Elizabeth Whiteman will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.
