Alvy was married on November 3, 1946 to the former Mary Chase who died in 2001.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Allan Lucas who died in 2013; his granddaughter, Shauna Lucas; and several brothers & sisters.

First off I’d like to say that I never knew his name I only knew him as grandpa. His granddaughter Rebecca Ortiz is like a sister to me and she talked about the love she and her grandpa shared all the time to me and I feel privileged to have known grandpa through her loving eyes. May grandpa rest in peace and may God strengthen all affected by this loss. Love ya princess!
