Joanne was a colleague at Alfred State College and a wonderful friend. She was a great mentor to me as a new faculty member at the college, and led by example. Her dedication to professionalism and achievement of excellence was evidenced throughout her life. Alfred State College was lucky to have her and Loretta Smith establish the groundwork for a successful nursing program. I was lucky and privileged to call her my friend. Thank you Joanne.
