For years growing up on Stephens Street, it was a joy knowing Cheryl. She worked for Hornell Housing and as such was part of the crew who inspected the apartments. She always had nice things to say during her walkthroughs in our place and always had a smile too! When she retired, my parents and I still saw her quite a bit and she constantly was asking how we were doing and even stopped to catch up with us in stores & elsewhere where we’d see her because she cared so much about people.

While this is a shock to me to find this out because I saw her a few weeks ago, I will always have those fond memories of her & how sweet of a person she was. Not only that, but it’s amazing to know that we will see her again when we get to Heaven.

May God bless her family in this difficult time & lift them all up together.
