Hendee \u2013 48 \u2013 of 11449 Nickles Road, Prattsburgh, NY died unexpectedly Monday (October 15, 2012) at her home.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Hornell on May 26, 1964, she was the daughter of Daniel &amp; Mary \u201cBetty\u201d (Gallagher) Sexton.<\/p>\n<p>Theresa grew up in Hornell and was a graduate of Hornell High School (class of 1982).\u00a0 She later earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Jamestown Community College.\u00a0 She resided in Fremont for about 8 years and has lived in Prattsburgh for the past 21 years.<\/p>\n<p>While in high school and before going to college, Theresa was employed in the dietary department at Hornell Gardens.\u00a0 Following her college graduation, she was employed as a secretary at Crowell Insurance in Arkport.\u00a0 She later served as a substitute teacher at Naples High School for about 6 years.<\/p>\n<p>Theresa enjoyed watching football on TV and loved rooting for the Buffalo Bills.\u00a0 She and her husband, Joe, loved spending time on their pontoon boat on Canandaigua Lake and Keuka Lake.\u00a0 They also enjoyed vacationing in Florida.<\/p>\n<p>She was married on October 14, 1989 to Joseph Hendee who survives.\u00a0 Also surviving are two sons, Daniel Hendee, a student at Clarkson University and Matthew Hendee, a student at SUNY Alfred; 3 sisters, Cathy (Jerry) Clark of Arkport, Margaret (Dave) Fletcher of Avoca and Patricia \u201cPat\u201d (Stan) Faryna of Howard; several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>The family of Theresa M. Hendee will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until\u00a0 7:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.\u00a0 A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary\u2019s Cemetery at the convenience of the family, with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Theresa M.
