Trimble \u2013 73 \u2013 of 981 Karr Valley Rd., Almond, died unexpectedly Thursday evening (March 21, 2013) at St. James Mercy Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Born in North Hornell on June 26, 1939, she was the daughter of Cash &amp; Edith (Thomas) Davison.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Beverly grew up in the Almond area and was a graduate of Alfred-Almond Central School (class of 1958).\u00a0 Following high school, she was employed for a time at Westinghouse in Bath and also Marion Rohr Corporation.\u00a0 She later worked for several years as a \u201cpacker\u201d at Mullen Meat Processing.\u00a0 For about 15 years, Beverly operated \u201cTootsie\u201d &#8212; an antique Co-Op located in \u201cThe Garage\u201d in Angelica.<\/p>\n<p>An exceptional seamstress and upholsterer, Beverly enjoyed re-finishing and upholstering furniture.\u00a0 Not only did she re-furbish most of her furniture in her home, she also made all of the draperies and other decorations.\u00a0 Beverly also loved working on the exterior of her home.\u00a0 She did all of the landscaping and even built a pond and a gazebo.\u00a0 No job was too big or too small.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Beverly enjoyed spending most of her time at her home.\u00a0 She loved being a mother and also absolutely adored being a \u201cNana\u201d to her grandchildren. \u00a0She made sure that she spent \u201cone-on-one\u201d time with each of her grandkids, making each and every one of them feel special.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0She was married on February 10, 1962 to Maxwell Aaron \u201cMax\u201d Trimble who died July 3, 1993.\u00a0 She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard Davison, Robert Davison and Melville \u201cBud\u201d Davison; 2 sisters, Carolyn Beard and Noreen Hall.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Surviving are 2 daughters, MaryAnn Trimble of Alfred Station and Marci (Timothy Cheresnowsky) Trimble of Canisteo; 1 son, Monte (Denise Thompson) Trimble of Alfred Station; 1 sister, Eleanor Gosper of Angelica; 6 grandchildren, Abby Fancher, Ali Fancher, Emma Jiusto, Jack Jiusto, Natalie Trimble &amp; Mia Trimble; with #7 grandchild, Evan Trimble is due in April; several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The family of Beverly J. Trimble will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 \u2013 4:00 PM and from7:00 \u2013 9:00 PM at the <strong>Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY, <\/strong>where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating.\u00a0 Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Almond, NY.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Beverly\u2019s family request that memorial contributions in her name be made to Give Kids The World, 210 South Bass Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34746.\u00a0 This is a wonderful charity that sends terminally ill children and their families to Disneyworld.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beverly J.
