Lockwood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?attachment_id=1239\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1239\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1239\" title=\"Robert Lockwood 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Robert-Lockwood-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"219\" height=\"303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Robert-Lockwood-2.jpg 219w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Robert-Lockwood-2-200x276.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 219px) 100vw, 219px\" \/><\/a>Robert C. \u201cBob\u201d Lockwood \u2013 62 \u2013 of 7562 Donnelly Rd., Almond died unexpected on Saturday (March 23, 2013) at his home.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Hornell on April 25, 1951, he was the son of Arthur &amp; Joyce (Brewer) Lockwood.<\/p>\n<p>Bob grew up in the Hornell-Canisteo area and was a graduate of Canisteo Central School (class of 1969).\u00a0 For many years he worked as a machinist at Polly-O Dairy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For about 29 years, Bob resided in Illinois where he was employed as a manager at Willie Wonka Candy factory.\u00a0 Throughout the years he was a self-employed carpenter and a \u201cJack of All Trades.\u201d\u00a0 He has resided in the Almond area for the past 8 years.<\/p>\n<p>Bob was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with both bow &amp; rifle.\u00a0 He especially loved hunting deer, bear, fox &amp; rabbits.\u00a0 Bob also enjoyed working on cars, both mechanically and doing body work.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Lockwood who died January 11, 1990 and his father, Arthur Lockwood.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are 2 daughters, Stacy (Steve) Haczela of Elgin, IL and Rachael Olson of Crest Hill, IL; 2 sons, Todd (Margarita) Lockwood of Elgin, IL and Trevor (Sabrina Curtis) Lockwood of Forest Park, IL; his former wife, Karol Lockwood of Carol Stream, IL; his mother, Joyce Lockwood of North Carolina; 2 brothers, David Lockwood of Florida and\u00a0Arthur Lockwood of North Carolina; 1 sister, Debbie Lockwood of\u00a0North Carolina; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter with another great-granddaughter on the way; several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>The family of Robert C. \u201cBob\u201d Lockwood will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00 PM\u00a0 until \u00a05:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert C. \u201cBob\u201d Lockwood \u2013 62 \u2013 of 7562 Donnelly Rd., Almond died unexpected on Saturday (March 23, 2013) at his home.
