Bacon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?attachment_id=1321\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1321\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1321\" title=\"Mildred Bacon Photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Mildred-Bacon-Photo-250x266.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Mildred-Bacon-Photo-250x266.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Mildred-Bacon-Photo-200x212.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Mildred-Bacon-Photo-1024x1090.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Mildred-Bacon-Photo.jpg 1081w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a>Mildred M. \u201cMillie\u201d Bacon \u2013 90 \u2013 formerly of Albion St., Hornell, died Wednesday morning (June 19, 2013) at Hornell Gardens where she had resided for the past 18 years.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Canandaigua on June 24, 1922, she was the daughter of William &amp; Jessie (Conklin) Hann.\u00a0 She has resided in the Hornell area for most of her life.\u00a0 Mildred was a member of the United Methodist Church and had been member of the Hornell Salvation Army.\u00a0 She was also a member of the Red Hat Society at Hornell Gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Millie was married in 1940 to George Bacon who died in 1974.\u00a0 She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Bacon and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Bacon.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Surviving are 7 sons, William (Carol Feenaughty) Bacon of Hornell, James Bacon of Hornell, Roy (Debbie) Bacon of Addison, Larry (Diane) Bacon of Hornell, Richard (Donna) Bacon of Hornell, Ronald (Wanda) Bacon of Corning and Philip (Joanie) Bacon of Corning; 1 daughter, Elaine Bacon of Smoking Dam, PA; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Bacon of Hornell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>The family of Mildred M. Bacon will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, where funeral &amp; committal services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3:00 PM with Pastor Marion Luce officiating.\u00a0 Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mildred M. \u201cMillie\u201d Bacon \u2013 90 \u2013 formerly of Albion St., Hornell, died Wednesday morning (June 19, 2013) at Hornell Gardens where she had resided for the past 18 years.
