Morse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Patricia A. \u201cPat\u201d Morse \u2013 70 \u2013 of Dundee, NY, died Friday afternoon (January 10, 2014) at Highland Hospital in Rochester.<\/p>\n<p>Born January 17, 1943 in Elmira, she was the daughter of Alfred &amp; Ruth (Fenton) Morse.<\/p>\n<p>Pat grew up in Elmira and was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy High School.\u00a0 She later attended Fredonia State College where she studied music, with the hope of one day becoming a concert pianist.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the years, Pat resided in several locations, including Penn Yan, Elmira and in recent years has resided in Dundee, NY.<\/p>\n<p>While living in Penn Yan, she was employed as a secretary for DelRossa Ford, a family owned business.\u00a0 While residing in Elmira, Pat worked as a bookkeeper\/accountant for Artistic Greetings and in more recent years worked in several capacities at Community Bank in Watkins Glen, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Pat never turned her back on her love of music as she continued to play piano for her family &amp; friends throughout her lifetime.\u00a0 She also enjoyed doing needlepoint &amp; spent countless hours crocheting.\u00a0 Pat\u2019s life would not be complete without remembering her deep love and devotion to her Lord &amp; Savior, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are her son, Leo \u201cSkip\u201d DelRossa of Penn Yan; 2 daughters, Lena (John) McDermott of Hornell and Christi (Sean) Campbell of Dundee; 1 brother, Alfred \u201cAl\u201d Morse of Dundee; 2 sisters, Marilyn Wilson of Bath and Lucretia \u201cLu\u201d Wes of Candor, NY; 2 grandchildren, Britni Forman and Devon Forman; several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>At Pat\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Patricia A. \u201cPat\u201d Morse \u2013 70 \u2013 of Dundee, NY, died Friday afternoon (January 10, 2014) at Highland Hospital in Rochester.
