{"id":1841,"date":"2014-09-27T18:39:35","date_gmt":"2014-09-27T18:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?p=1841"},"modified":"2014-09-27T18:39:35","modified_gmt":"2014-09-27T18:39:35","slug":"rosaire-frenchy-morneault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?p=1841","title":{"rendered":"Rosaire &#8220;Frenchy&#8221; Morneault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?attachment_id=1842\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1842\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1842\" title=\"Rosaire Morneault Photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Rosaire-Morneault-Photo-200x252.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Rosaire-Morneault-Photo-200x252.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Rosaire-Morneault-Photo-250x315.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Rosaire-Morneault-Photo.jpg 504w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Rosaire J. \u201cFrenchy\u201d Morneault \u2013 (78) \u2013 of 3651 Weaver St., Rochester, died early Friday morning (September 26, 2014) at the Leo Center for Caring Facility in Rochester, following a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Eagle Lake, ME on August 27, 1936, he was the son of Seigfroid &amp; Albertine (Labby) Morneault.<\/p>\n<p>Frenchy grew up in Maine where he graduated from high school.\u00a0 He was a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving his country from 1954 &#8211; 1956.\u00a0 He has resided in the Rochester area for over 50 years.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the years, Frenchy had been employed at several places, including the VA Hospital in Bath, McFadden\u2019s in Dansville and for many years was a warehouse worker for Eagle Specialty of Rochester, NY.\u00a0 He retired in 1990.<\/p>\n<p>Rosaire enjoyed all forms of gardening, including grapes, apple trees &amp; tomatoes.\u00a0 He also enjoyed watching and attending sporting events, such as the Buffalo Bills and Roller Derby and thoroughly loved country &amp; western music.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Morneault; 2 sisters, Ethyline Warner and Serline Jones.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his dear friend, Charles Slaght of Rochester; 2 nieces Tonia (Francesco) Puccio of Webster and Debbie (Floyd) Ricci of Whitmore, MI;<\/p>\n<p>At Rosaire\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private graveside services will be held at Rural Cemetery in Hornell at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rosaire J. \u201cFrenchy\u201d Morneault \u2013 (78) \u2013 of 3651 Weaver St., Rochester, died early Friday morning (September 26, 2014) at the Leo Center for Caring Facility in Rochester, following a long illness.
