Hoskins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?attachment_id=1870\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1870\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1870\" title=\"Hoskins, Bradley\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hoskins-Bradley-200x255.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hoskins-Bradley-200x255.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hoskins-Bradley-250x319.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Hoskins-Bradley.jpg 389w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Bradley L. \u201cBrad\u201d Hoskins \u2013 50 \u2013 of 48 Clover Crossing, Manchester, NY, formerly of Hornell &amp; Arkport, died unexpectedly at his home.<\/p>\n<p>Born in North Hornell on July 9, 1964, he was the son of Robert &amp; Joyce (Smalt) Hoskins.<\/p>\n<p>Brad resided in Hornell until the age of six when his family moved to Arkport.\u00a0 He was a graduate of Arkport Central School (class of 1982).\u00a0 He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne Military Police Unit.\u00a0 While in the US Army, he was stationed in several locations, including Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Brad moved back to the Hornell-Arkport area.\u00a0 He was employed for several years at Magic Cleaners in Hornell, working alongside his father.\u00a0 He later owned and operated his own Chem-Dry Franchise in Hornell.<\/p>\n<p>Brad lived in Rochester for several years where he was employed as a car salesman at various car dealerships.\u00a0 Most recently he worked as a salesman for Balentine RV in Victor, NY.<\/p>\n<p>He was an avid football fan and especially enjoyed rooting for the Buffalo Bills.\u00a0 He loved target shooting (both pistols &amp; rifles) and had been a member of the Canaseraga American Legion.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are 2 sons, Caden (Lindsey) Hoskins of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tyler Hoskins of Myrtle Beach, SC; 2 brothers, Wayne (Anna) Hoskins of Canaseraga and Alan (Kristine) Hoskins of Georgetown, KY; 1 sister, Candice Clark; 1 grandson, Bowen Hoskins; several nieces &amp; nephews including his \u201cspecial buddy, Jeremy Hoskins.<\/p>\n<p>At Brad\u2019s request there will be no prior calling hours.\u00a0 A Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.<\/p>\n<p>In recognition of Brad\u2019s service to his country as a member of the US Army, the American Flag at the Dagon Funeral Home will be flown at half-staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bradley L. \u201cBrad\u201d Hoskins \u2013 50 \u2013 of 48 Clover Crossing, Manchester, NY, formerly of Hornell &amp; Arkport, died unexpectedly at his home.
