Kame"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?attachment_id=2051\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2051\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2051\" title=\"Lawrence Kame photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Lawrence-Kame-photo-200x235.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Lawrence-Kame-photo-200x235.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Lawrence-Kame-photo-250x293.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Lawrence-Kame-photo-1024x1203.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Lawrence-Kame-photo.jpg 1382w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Lawrence E. \u201cLarry\u201d Kame \u2013 77 \u2013 of 1073 Sharps Hill Road, Arkport, died early Wednesday morning at Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Born in Hornell on October 2, 1937, he was the son of Floyd &amp; Ruth (Bossard) Kame.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Larry, affectionately known as \u201cHuck\u201d, grew up in Arkport and was a graduate of Arkport Central School (class of 1955).\u00a0 He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving his country from 1958 \u2013 1962.\u00a0 While serving in the military, he was stationed at several locations including Iceland and Morocco.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 1962, Larry began working for AT&amp;T which later became New York Telephone and then Verizon.\u00a0 He retired in 1992 as line manager following 30 years of service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Larry had been a member of the Arkport American Legion, Hornell Moose and the G.
