Owen Charlie Eugene Conklin \u2013 11 month old son of Kimberly D. Conklin of Bath, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (March 7, 2017) at the Albany Medical Center, in the loving arms of his mother.<\/p>\nOwen Charlie Eugene Conklin \u2013 11 month old son of Kimberly D. He was born March 14, 2016 at Corning Hospital and died just one week shy of his first birthday.<\/p>\n
Owen\u2019s life started out rough, but he was a fighter and he \u201cgave it his all\u201d until the end!<\/p>\n
He loved watching cartoons; having his mommy comb his long hair while she held him; seeing his Papa and listening to his \u201cOma\u201d sing \u201cYou Are My Sunshine\u201d to him.<\/p>\n
In addition to his mother, Kimberly, Owen is survived by his soon to be step-father, Anthony Ottaviano; his soon to be sister, Oaklynn Rayne; his grandparents, Gerald E. & Angel L. (Meyer) Conklin; many aunts, uncles & cousins.<\/p>\n
Although Owen was never able to leave the hospital setting, he touched so many people in his short, precious life.\u00a0 He was truly loved and will be sadly missed.<\/p>\n
Everyone is invited to attend a \u201cFriends & Family Dinner\u201d today (Sunday, March 12, 2017) at the Howard Fire Department from 1:00 PM \u2013 5:00 PM.\u00a0 Please bring a dish to pass.<\/p>\n
