\"\"David J. Hoyt \u2013 73 \u2013 of 44 Catherine St., Hornell, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. James Hospital following a brief illness.<\/p>\n

Born in Hornell on February 22, 1944, he was the son of Charles W. & Ruth Marie (Beier) Hoyt, SR.<\/p>\n

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles W. Hoyt, Jr.<\/p>\n

David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy M. (Evans) Hoyt. Also surviving are three sons, Darin Joseph (Gretchen) Hoyt, Jasin Michael Hoyt, Michael Frederick (Clair) Hoyt; two daughters, Beth Renee (Hoyt) Woodworth and Lynn Marie (Hoyt) Dagastino; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.<\/p>\n

At David\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n

Arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/strong><\/p>\n

David\u2019s family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Hornell Area Family YMCA, 18 Center St., Hornell, NY 14843.<\/p>\n
