In 2010 he was honored by being inducted into the Hornell High School Sports Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his adult life, Art worked in the construction industry and for many years was employed as a foreman for LeChase Construction Company. He retired about 30 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>He had been a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a communicant of St. Ann\u2019s Church. Art enjoyed landscaping, especially planting flowers, trees &amp; bushes. He also constructed three small ponds on his property, complete with stonework, waterfalls and, of course, stocked with goldfish. He also loved caring &amp; playing with his beloved \u201cCanine Friends\u201d, Spring &amp; Princess.<\/p>\n<p>Art was an avid Buffalo Bills Football fan and especially loved rooting for them during the Super Bowl years. His greatest joy, however, was following his grandchildren\u2019s sporting &amp; school events. Without a doubt, he was their greatest fan!<\/p>\n<p>A loving husband, father, grandfather &amp; great-grandfather, Art will also be remembered as a true friend with an ever-present smile and a twinkle in his eye. He will be sadly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him!<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his brother, Francis \u201cBuck\u201d Roselli and his infant granddaughter, Angelina Eicher.<\/p>\n<p>He was married in 2001 to the former Barbara Morsch who survives. Also surviving are 1 son, John Roselli of Hornell; 3 daughters, Karen (John) Dagon of Hornell, Kathryn (Joe Ebert) Roselli of Alfred and Anne Rovito of Harpswell, ME; his step-children, Tammy (Scott Smith) Roosa of Arkport,\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Ty (Cyndi) Forbes of Spartanburg, SC, Tracey Bennett of Virginia and Kelly (Tom) Weidman of Farmington, NC; 7 grandchildren, John Dagon JR, James Dagon, Sam Dagon, Tagan Rovito, Josh Hillier, Drake Hillier and Jax Roosa; 1 great-grandson, Cadian Buck; several nieces, nephews &amp; cousins.<\/p>\n<p>The family of Arthur J. \u201cArt\u201d Roselli will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM \u2013 6:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Heritage Hill Cemetery, Arkport, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Art\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
