Bush \u2013 (68) \u2013 of 7668 State Route 53, Kanona, formerly of Hornell, passed away peacefull Thursday morning (March 7, 2019) at her home, following a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Corning on June 4, 1950, she was the daughter of Eldon &amp; June (Salvate) Benjamin.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon grew up in Hornell and attended Hornell High School.\u00a0 She had been employed as a Nurse\u2019s Aide and Health Care Provider for Sue\u2019s Rest Home of Hornell and Maple Crest Manor of Hornell.<\/p>\n<p>An avid bingo player, Sharon loved traveling to such places as Salamanca, Dansville, Corning, Bath and Hornell to play bingo.\u00a0 She loved her family and enjoyed hosting an annual Family Reunion at her home where family would come an spend the entire weekend.\u00a0 A great time was always had by all!\u00a0 Sharon also loved watching old western movies and old Western TV with a little bit of Family Feud thrown in for good measure.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Gloria Valimont and Maryanne Alexander.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include the love of her life of 25 yrs, Raymond L. Clark of Kanona; 2 daughters, Dawn M. (Gary Day) Gardner of Kanona and Dana L. (Raymond London) Rougex of Hornell; 1 son, Vance N. Gardner, JR of Alfred; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>At Sharon\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with final interment in Woodhull Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Family &amp; friends will be invited to attend a \u201cCelebration of Life\u201d to be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the <strong>Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sharon\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To leave an online condolence or share a memory, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\">www.dagonfuneralhome.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sharon M.
