Morris, NY for about 1 year.\u00a0 Moving to Wellsville in 1992, Skip was had been employed at Northern Lights Candles in Wellsville and also worked as a truck driver for Dunkin\u2019 Donuts of Wellsville.\u00a0 Along with his wife, Robin, Skip owned &amp; operated Conley\u2019s Recycling for about 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>A loyal Pittsburg Steelers football (NFL) fan, Skip and also loved watching professional wrestling (WWE) on Monday Night Raw.\u00a0 He also enjoyed fishing &#8212; especially on Alma Pond and a \u201cLittle Bit of Gambling\u201d \u00a0by playing Bingo and purchasing Quick Draw &amp; Scratch-Off tickets. \u00a0He was known as a \u201cJack of All Trades\u201d who could \u201cJerry-Rig\u201d just about anything.<\/p>\n<p>Skip was preceded in death by his father, Gerrald M. Conley Sr. and also his \u201csister\u201d Tonya Simpson.<\/p>\n<p>He was married on November 8, 1984 to the former Robin Henry who survives.\u00a0 Also surviving are 2 daughters, Fuleshea (John) Spangler of Spartanburg, SC and Laura (Ralph Dorrough) Conley of Hornell; 2 sons, Michael (Jamiee) Conley of Friendship and Joseph (Sharra Maillet) Conley of Wellsville; his Godchildren, Brandon Pitcher &amp; Jessica Pitcher; his mother, Linda Brokaw of Scio; 3 sisters, Sharlene Conley of Scio, Mary Conley of Rexville &amp; Jennifer Conley of Hornell; 4 brothers, Ronald (Tess Green) Conley of Wellsville, Kenneth (Jeanie) Conley of Pennsylvania, William (Beth) Manry of Friendship and Tim (Emmy) Conley of Hornell; 8 grandchildren, Lily, Suri, Lyxie, Keyanna, Karter, Alex, Isabelle &amp; Jaslynn; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>At Skip\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.\u00a0 A \u201cCelebration of Life\u201d will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the <strong>Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Skip\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gerrald M. \u201cSkip\u201d Conley Jr. \u2013 53 \u2013 of 10194 County Route 961-F, Arkport, NY (Town of Burns) died unexpectedly Saturday evening (April 10, 2021) at his home.
