\"\"Cleola B. \u201cSue\u201d Herington \u2013 80 \u2013 of 11044 Pfaff Hollow Ext., Perkinsville, died Saturday afternoon (May 22, 2021) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, following a long illness.<\/p>\n

Born in Lima, NY on April 24, 1941, she was the daughter of Clarence & Dorothy Herington.<\/p>\n

Sue grew up in Lima and was a graduate of Lima High School (class of 1959).\u00a0 She resided in Springwater for several years and has lived in Perkinsville for the past 30 years.<\/p>\n

She was a member of the Ingleside Christian Church of Naples.\u00a0 Sue enjoyed crocheting and creating beautiful doll clothes.\u00a0 She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles.\u00a0 One of Sue\u2019s favorite pastimes was baking cookies and bread (especially pepperoni bread) and spending time with her family, especially her sister.\u00a0 Sue also was a proud monthly donor to St. Jude Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by 2 sisters; 4 brothers; her grandson; and her son-in-law.<\/p>\n

Survivors include the \u201cLove of Her Life\u201d, Raymond Prigge; 2 daughters, Shannon (Guy Chilson) Chilson of Dansville and Becky Smith of Honeoye, 2 sons, Jeff (Louann) Smith of Florida and Joe (Teri) smith of Honeoye; her step-children, Cyndi Prigge of West Sparta, Matt (Amanda) Prigge of Wayland, Danyel (James Stewart) Prigge of Arkport and Jared Prigge of Canisteo; her sister, Lois Gascon of Birdsall; many grandchildren, including Cristie, Brandon , Anthony and Austin; several nieces & nephews.<\/p>\n

At Sue\u2019s requests there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 A \u201cCelebration of Life\u201d will be held at a date and time to be announced.<\/p>\n

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sue\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the St. Jude Children\u2019s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 38105<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
