She resided in Hornell from 1962 \u2013 1983 where she was employed as Unit Secretary at the former St. James Mercy Hospital.\u00a0 Pat lived in Rochester from 1983 \u2013 1990 where she worked at Strong Memorial Hospital.\u00a0 She returned to Hornell in 1990, resuming her employment at St. James Mercy Hospital. \u00a0Pat thoroughly enjoyed her monthly dinners with friends and former co-workers of St. James Mercy Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a communicant of St. Ignatius Loyola Church and St. Ann\u2019s Church.\u00a0 Pat enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting and music.\u00a0 She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>On September 20, 1952, Pat married her high school sweetheart, Thomas \u201cPaul\u201d Dailey, who died February 8, 2008.\u00a0 She was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Daniel Dailey who died in 2003, David Dailey who died in 2010 and Dennis Dailey who died in 2012; her brothers, Bryan \u201cBud\u201d Moylan and John \u201cJack\u201d Moylan.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are 2 sons, Tim Dailey of Holley, NY, and Jeff Dailey of Hornell; 5 daughters, Linda (Karl) Haynes of Wilmington, DE, Teresa (Joe) Hall of Hornell, Carol (Steve) Freeland of Hornell, Patricia (Bradley) Spicer of Hornell and Diana (Dirk) Huussen of Rochester; her daughters-in-law, Sue (Glenn) Winans and Patricia Dailey, Anne Marie Dailey and Suzie Dailey; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Dailey and Gloria Moylan; 30 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>At Pat\u2019s request there will be no prior calling hours.\u00a0 A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann\u2019s Church with final interment in\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 St. Mary\u2019s Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Pat\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY\u00a0 14843.<\/p>\n<p>To leave an online condolence or share a memory, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\">www.dagonfuneralhome.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Patricia A. \u201cPat\u201d Dailey \u2013 (88) \u2013 of Hornell, died Tuesday evening (August 2, 2022) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, following a recent illness.
