Gregory \u201cGreg\u201d Boyd \u2013 70 \u2013 of the Lincoln Gardens Apartments, Hornell, died unexpectedly Wednesday (October 12, 2022) at his home.<\/p>\n
Born in Washington, DC on September 2, 1952, he was the son of Robert & Viola (Ford) Boyd.<\/p>\n
Greg grew up in Washington, DC where he attended high school.\u00a0 He was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country during the Vietnam era.\u00a0 He has resided in Hornell for the past 2 years.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death b his son, Gregory Boyd; his brother, Larry Boyd; 2 sisters, Gloria Holmes and Eleanor Holmes.<\/p>\n
Surviving are 2 sons, Marvin Boyd and Leon Boyd; 2 brothers, William Boyd and Ronald Holmes; 2 sisters, Gail Holmes and Karen Holmes.<\/p>\n
At Greg\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
Greg\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
