\"\"<\/a>Angela Y. Johnson \u2013 43 \u2013 of 31 Franklin St., Hornell, died Sunday afternoon (May 8, 2011) at her home, following a long illness.<\/p>\n

Born in Winter Park, FL on July 10, 1967, she was the daughter of Clarence Johnson and the former Joyce Sumptner.<\/p>\n

Angela grew up in Rochester and was a graduate of Franklin High School (class of 1984).\u00a0 She later received her Certified Nurse\u2019s Assistant (CNA) Degree.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She has resided in Hornell for the past 14 years and had been employed at McAuley Manor and Hornell Gardens as a CNA.\u00a0 She was and avid reader and also enjoyed being a \u201cmom\u201d to nearly all of her children\u2019s friends.<\/p>\n

Angela was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Johnson.<\/p>\n

Surviving are 2 daughters, Terri Johnson of Bath and Shonnell Reed of Hornell; 1 son, J\u2019Quann Reed of Hornell; her mother, Joyce Balkum of Rochester; 1 sister, Tammi Johnson of Rochester; 3 grandchildren, Danielle Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Isis Reffitt; 2 nieces, Infiniti Johnson and A\u2019mere Greggs; a great-nephew, Sclim.

\nThe family of Angela Y. Johnson will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY where a Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 11:00 AM with Bishop James Hartsfield officiating.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
