Douglas B. \u201cDoug\u201d Cruikshank \u2013 (85) \u2013 a resident of Elderwood at Hornell Nursing Facility died Saturday morning (April 6, 2024) one day shy of his 86th birthday.<\/p>\n
Born in Boise, ID on April 7, 1928, he was the son of Douglas & Muriel (Lehrer) Cruikshank.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son.<\/p>\n
Surviving are his wife, Diana Godwin; his children, Grant, Linda, Matthew and Randi; his brother, Robert; several grandchildren.<\/p>\n
At Doug\u2019s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
Doug\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in his name be made to a charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
