Hornell, New York<\/p>\n
Janice Chardeen \u2013 89 \u2013 a resident of Maple City Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility, formerly of Williamson, NY, died Friday (April 12, 2024) at St. James Hospital where she had been taken by Hornell City Ambulance.<\/p>\n
Born on March 16, 1935, Janice spent much of her life in Rochester, NY and later Williamson, NY and had been employed as a nurse for many years. She had resided in Hornell for the past year.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas \u201cNick\u201d Chardeen.<\/p>\n
Janice is survived by her step-son, Frank (Suzanne) Chardeen of Williamson.<\/p>\n
At Janice\u2019s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
