Weirick.\u00a0 They were married for nearly 52 years until his death on March 16, 1998.<\/p>\n<p>After raising her family, she returned to college, receiving her Masters\u2019 Degree in Education from SUNY Geneseo in 1965.\u00a0 She taught third grade at the Canaseraga Central School for 23 years.<\/p>\n<p>In 1935 Jean became a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Hornell.\u00a0 Throughout the years she served as an Elder, was active in women\u2019s groups and was a volunteer in the church office and at McCauley Manor.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother William A. \u201cBill\u201d Caldwell who died June 17, 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are her son, Thomas \u201cT.C.\u201d (Patty) Weirick of Leesburg, FL; her daughter Jane Todd Ross of Honeoye Falls; two grandchildren, Christian A. Wakeman of Charlottesville, VA and Kiersten S. Wakeman of Honeoye Falls; her cousin, Helen (John) Ross of Templepatrick, Northern Ireland; two nephews, Robert (Lori) Caldwell of Mendham, NJ and John Caldwell of Akron, PA; and several great nieces and nephews.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe family of Jean Caldwell Weirick will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.\u00a0 A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the United Presbyterian Church with Rev.
