He received his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in English from Canisius College and later received his Master\u2019s Degree in Education with an emphasis on English from Alfred University.<\/p>\n<p>For 32 years, Jim served as an English teacher at Jasper Central School, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a communicant of St. Ann\u2019s Church.<\/p>\n<p>Jim was married on August 13, 1959 to the former Josephine Nasca who died November 1, 2018. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Nosky and Leslie McMullen; 3 sisters, Dolores Ulrich, Jeanne Joachimi and Bernice Kelly; his son, Robert Conlan.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are his son, Dominic Conlan; his brother, Robert (Carol) Nosky of Oswego; his brother-in-law, Robert Kelly of Kenmore; many nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>At Jim\u2019s request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann\u2019s Church.
