Kathleen \u201cKathy\u201d (Mooney) Roselli, age 74, of Hornell, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 following a courageous battle with cancer.<\/p>\n
She was born on November 18th, 1949 in Hornell to Joseph and Mary Teresa (Clancy) Mooney.<\/p>\n
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Thomas R. Roselli; her children, Mitchell (Lin) Roselli of Phelps, NY and Maria (Keith) Trusky of The Villages, Florida; grandsons, Seth Trusky of Cary, NC and Wyatt Roselli of Phelps, NY; sisters, Mary Jo (Paul) Smith of Elizabethtown, PA, Anne Bentley of Orlando, FL, and Rita (Robert) White of Hornell, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Reverend James Mooney.<\/p>\n
Kathy was known for being a wonderful mother and adoring grandmother. She had a dynamic personality and was loved by many close friends.<\/p>\n
In honor of her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann\u2019s Church, 35 Erie Ave in Hornell.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CareFirst Hospice, online at www.CareFirstNY.org or by mail to CareFirst Hospice, 3805 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, NY 14870.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
