Donato M. \u201cDanny\u201d Balassone \u2013 76 \u2013 of 6118 Campbell Creek Rd., Bath, died Monday evening (April 25, 2011) at his home, following a long illness.<\/p>\n
Born in Rockford, IL on August 27, 1934, he was the son of Michael & Satinna (Franka) Balassone.\u00a0 He has resided in the Hornell \u2013 Bath area for the past 35 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Danny was a well known sign painter and a self-taught artist.\u00a0 He owned and operated Dan\u2019s Signs which later became Studio one Signs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cory Bailey.<\/p>\n
Surviving are his son, Michael Balassone; 3 daughters, Renee Balassone Wade, Charmaine Balassone and Michelle Bailey; his loving companion, Barbara Stives; his longtime best friends, Ronald & Sylvia Kukucka; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
