Kenneth L. \u201cKenny\u201d Galloway \u2013 (65) \u2013 of West William St., Corning died early Saturday morning (February 8, 2025) at his home, following a long illness.<\/p>\n

Born in Rochester on March 5, 1959, he was the son of Nelson & Mildred (Barefoot) Galloway.<\/p>\n

Kenny grew up in Rochester and attended Rochester West High School.\u00a0 After receiving his GED, he attended Alfred State College where he majored in Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC).<\/p>\n

For over 15 years, Ken served as manager of Mountainbrow Village Townhouses in Corning.<\/p>\n

Proud of his Indian heritage, Kenny loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing in ponds, rivers & streams.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Mildred Galloway; and his brother, James Galloway.<\/p>\n

Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Galloway of Sodus, Joshua Galloway of Andover, Donald Cobb of Livonia, Cerabeth Galloway of Canandaigua and Ella Galloway of Watertown; 1 sister, Linda (Vern) DePriest of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Leo, Kiya\u00a0& Willow.<\/p>\n

At Kenny\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n

Kenny\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to either ASPCA or any local humane society or animal shelter.<\/p>\n
