{"id":7500,"date":"2025-03-02T14:55:38","date_gmt":"2025-03-02T19:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?p=7500"},"modified":"2025-03-03T13:02:37","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T18:02:37","slug":"patricia-a-patty-lococo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/?p=7500","title":{"rendered":"Patricia A. \u201cPatty\u201d LoCoco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Patricia-Lococo-Photo-250x357.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"357\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Patricia-Lococo-Photo-250x357.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Patricia-Lococo-Photo-200x285.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.dagonfuneralhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Patricia-Lococo-Photo.jpg 705w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>Hornell, New York<\/p>\n<p>Patricia A. \u201cPatty\u201d LoCoco \u2013 82 \u2013 formerly of 36 Oak St., Hornell, died Friday evening (February 28, 2025) at Elderwood at Hornell Nursing Facility where she has resided for the past three years.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Montclair, NJ on August 7, 1942, she was the daughter of Joseph &amp; Anna (LaFaro) LoCoco.<\/p>\n<p>Patty grew up in Hornell and was a graduate of Hornell High School (class of 1960).\u00a0 She resided in Newport, RI for several years and when she was about 30 years old attended College near Newport, RI.\u00a0 While living in Newport, Patty was employed as Service Manager for Hoffman\u2019s Steak House.\u00a0 She lived in Andrews, TX for about 8 years, returning to the Hornell area about 40 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>For about 20 years, Patty was employed at the Hornell Association where she served in many capacities, including bartender.<\/p>\n<p>Patty was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a communicant of St. Ann\u2019s Church.\u00a0 She was a longtime member of the Hornell Association and a former member of the Hornell Moose Lodge.\u00a0 Patty was an avid New England Patriots fan (NFL) who loved Tom Brady.\u00a0 She was also a New York Yankee fan and had a lifelong affection for Newport, RI.\u00a0 She loved dancing and listening to 1950s music and spending time with great-grandsons, Carter &amp; Camden.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Donahue; and her brother, Joseph LoCoco.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are 4 sons, Kevin (Melissa) Hughes (along with children, Denae, Andrea, Caitlin &amp; Joseph), Joseph Hughes (along with children, Nilza &amp; Joseph), Michael Hughes (along with children, Lisa Marie &amp; Michael) and Sean (Collette) Hughes (along with daughter, Jesseca); 1 sister, Belinda Coleman; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews Johnny &amp; Michael, his niece, Shelly; along with 14 cousins.<\/p>\n<p>At Patty\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary\u2019s cemetery at the convenience of the family with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Because Patty had a deep love &amp; devotion to God and because children held a special place in her heart, her family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to\u00a0St. Ann\u2019s Academy, 41 Genesee St., Hornell, NY\u00a0 14843.<\/p>\n<p>To leave an online condolence or share a memory, visit www.dagonfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hornell, New York Patricia A. \u201cPatty\u201d LoCoco \u2013 82 \u2013 formerly of 36 Oak St., Hornell, died Friday evening (February 28, 2025) at Elderwood at Hornell Nursing Facility where she has resided for the past three years.
