Pamela S. \u201cPam\u201d Nicholson \u2013 71 \u2013 died Wednesday evening (June 4, 2025) at the Alcor Nursing & Rehab facility in Horseheads, where she resided for the pasts 2 years.<\/p>\n
Born in Hornell on March 27, 1954, she was the daughter of Nelson & Thelma (Stephens) Norton.<\/p>\n
A resident of the Hornell area for most of her life, Pam enjoyed playing Lotto and trying her luck with \u201cscratch-off\u201d tickets.<\/p>\n
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Norton.<\/p>\n
Surviving are 3 sisters, Lana (Al) York of Canisteo, Sheila (Mark) Hess of Canisteo and Karen Gardner of Canisteo; 3 brothers, John (Linda) Norton of Hornell, Michael Norton of Hornell and Mark (Cindy) Norton of Bath, NY; along with several nieces & nephews.<\/p>\n
At Pam\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
Pam\u2019s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Canisteo Fire & Ambulance, 14 Main St., Canisteo, NY\u00a0 14823<\/p>\n
