Charles A. \u201cChuck\u201d Kaye \u2013 74 \u2013 formerly of Rochester, NY, died early Friday morning December 26, 2025.<\/p>\n
Born in Brooklyn, NY on July 4, 1951, he was the son of Peter & Aphrodite \u201cDotty\u201d (Gerogiannis) Katsafouros.<\/p>\n
Chuck grew up in Brooklyn, NY & New Jersey and eventually his family moved to Penfield, NY.\u00a0 He was a graduate of Penfield High School (class of 1968) and later graduated from Alleghany College in Meadville, PA.\u00a0 He received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Rochester in 1977.<\/p>\n
He was employed for many years as a financial & budget analyst for Eastman Kodak in Rochester and later for the Rochester City School District.\u00a0 He retired in 2013.<\/p>\n
In his younger years, after earning his private pilot\u2019s license, Chuck enjoyed flying small airplanes.\u00a0 He enjoyed golf and was an avid New York Yankees fan.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Odenbach.<\/p>\n
Surviving are 2 sons, Alexander Kaye and Adam Kaye of Rochester, NY and a daughter, Veronica Kaye of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
At Chuck\u2019s request there will be no calling hours.\u00a0 Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.<\/p>\n
Chuck\u2019s family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
