Bob Bishop – 70 – of 90 Seneca St., Hornell died Friday morning (December 21, 2018) at Elderwood at Hornell Nursing Facility, following a long illness.

Born and raised in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Raymond & Marguerite (Fappier) Levesque.  He attended Fall River High School.

Bob resided most of his adult life in Newport, RI where he owned & operated Bob Bishop Painting. Throughout the years he painted countless homes and businesses in the area.

He resided in Broward County, Florida for about 10 years and has lived in Hornell for the past five years. He enjoyed wood carving and created many wood sculptures which he shared with family and friends.

Bob had been married for many years to the former Jeanna Kates who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Susan Wardlow of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Raymond Wardlow and Amber Wardlow.

At Bob’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.

Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
