Sadie Ann Flint-Bauman – 32 – formerly of Pine St., Hornell, died unexpectedly Saturday morning (June 6, 2026) in the Town of Hornellsville.
Born in Rochester on February 15, 1994, she was the daughter of Scott Bauman & Tammy Flint.
Sadie grew up in Hornell and was a graduate of Hornell High School (class of 2012). Throughout the years she resided in several locations, including Hornell, Rochester, Hawaii, Canandaigua and California. While in Canandaigua, she worked in a local bakery and most recently served as an Uber Driver for Lyft & Uber of Rochester.
She was a former member of Koinonia Fellowship Church of East Rochester and more recently attended St. Ann’s Church in Hornell. Sadie enjoyed reading both spiritual books and articles along with health-related books & articles.
Sadie was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Flint; her maternal grandparents, Elijah “Red” & Barbara Flint; and her paternal grandfather, Jerry Bauman.
Surviving are her father, Scott Bauman of Spencerport; her brother, Wyatt Young-Bauman of Spencerport; her maternal grandmother, Sharon Bauman of Spencerport; along with several aunts, uncles & cousins.
At Sadie’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Sadie’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

I met Sadie 2 years ago shortly after moving to Hornell. We became sisters immediately. Her deep love and conviction in her faith was inspiring. Sadie and I studied the Bible together. We enjoyed many spiritual discussions. I have fond memories of that and going to Keuka lake with her, and including her in family dinner at my parents house. We laughed together. And cried together. I had the pleasure of visiting with Sadie recently. And now I’m certainly glad I had that opportunity. I loved Sadie as my own sister. I look forward to the time I will see Sadie again in Paradise earth, healthy and happy as God intended her to be.

I am deeply saddened to hear of her sudden passing. She was one of those rare souls who leaves a lasting imprint on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. I had the privilege of sharing part of her journey through yoga teacher training, and over the years she always stayed in touch, which meant so much to me.
She walked to the rhythm of her own spirit—authentic, grounded, free, and beautifully herself. There was a quiet magic about her, a sincerity and warmth that made her easy to love and impossible to forget. I always felt a special connection with her and will cherish the memories we shared.

I send my sincere condolences to the family, I’ve known Sadie for the past year and was lucky enough to share some precious moments with her, she had a beautiful soul and was deeply spiritual. I will truly miss my friend.
