Marilyn W. Lattierre – (92) – formerly of County Route 66, Hornell, died Saturday morning (August 29, 2026) at Elderwood at Hornell Nursing Facility where she had resided for the past four years.
Born in Rochester on July 20, 1934, she was the daughter of Roger & Ruth Williams.
Marilyn grew up in Rochester and was a graduate of Charlotte High School. She had been employed as an operator for Rochester Telephone Company for about 2 years and later worked as a fork-lift operator and assembly line worker for Kodak Corporation for 28 years. She has resided in Hornell since 2010.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Richard McDowell & William Lattierre;
3 sisters, Sharon, Myrna & Suzanne.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Lynda (Tony) Bertolone of Rochester, Robin (Glen) Krosecky of Florida and Tracy (Ted) Arenas of Hornell; 1 son, Roger Lattierre of Canandaigua, NY; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
At Marilyn’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Marilyn’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Sorry for your loss. Marilyn was a great friend over the last few years. We met at the nursing home, I would go up a few times a week to visit her and another friend. She would always look out for our friend during the time that nobody was there to visit. She was a sweetheart, very caring, loving person and she’ll be greatly missed. She wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. That’s what I loved about her most. I’m glad I got to know her. God Bless her and prayers for the family.
