Anna Beatrice “Skip” Nichols

Middlesex, New York

Anna Beatrice “Skip” Nichols (Andre), 86, passed away quietly Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Born July 13, 1939 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Bartlett) Andre and lived in the Canandaigua and Middlesex area for many years.

Anna retired from the Canandaigua Veteran’s Administration Medical Center where she was employed for 25 years in the Diatetics department. She was passionate about cooking and baking. She was a very thoughtful, lovable and giving soul and would love to share her baking and cooking gifts.

Having a pure love for family, Anna gave much of herself while caring for them. She would always have a sweet smile on her face and made everyone that crossed her path feel loved.

Along with her late husband, Edward, Anna shared the love of snowmobiling in the Adirondacks and classic auto shows in the 27′ Model T she called “Matilda”. She and Ed were a faithful couple and were members of the Middlesex United Methodist Church for 37 years.

In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Edward A. Nichols; 1 great-grand child, David Sweed; her brothers; Richard, Bob, Francis “Buzz” and James; her sisters, Rose Patterson, Leona Perry, and Arlean Snyder.

Anna is survived by her son, Dennis E. Nichols; and daughter, Joanna E. Nichols; grandchildren; Nathan Nichols, Nicholas Nichols, Michael Storme Guzzo and Eddie Robert Guzzo; great-grand children, Rorick, Reggie, and Jah’Layla; brother-in-law, Edward Snyder; as well as nieces and nephews.

Anna is laid to rest beside Edward at the Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
