Most recently Brigid embraced her role as a doting grandmother. Her granddaughters Annabelle and Elliana truly loved and will miss their “Grammy Bridgy.”

To my O’Neil family, I am saddened by this news. The loss of a close loved one is not what any of us should have to endure, but may she find joy and free spirit in that place we all hope to go! Sad yes but as I return in my mind to memories of times spent with her and the whole family smiles come to my face. We enjoyed some great times. That is what missing is the more great memories increase the the hurt of what we have loss! All take care until we meet again!

February 1st is celebrated in Ireland as the feast of St. Brigid.
Last evening I sent a celestial note to Brigid which I would like to share.

Dear Brigid. I write to you tonight on the eve of your Irish feast day, aware that you have recently left your earthly life, and hoping that you will find blessings and protection in the extra effective hours of the eve of this feast. I met you only once, but I have had the joy of knowing and loving your beautiful children Caitlin and Christopher. You might remember that we danced together at Chris and Jen’s wedding and that you proclaimed it “a lot of fun.” Your beautiful Cait so strongly resembles you as a young woman, and she shares your love of little Annabelle and Elliana, and also of cats and dogs. Chris is a strong, loyal, reliable man. They are both tremendously talented and loving people. You must be so very proud of them. I know your entire family misses you. But I hope that tonight you are dancing, remembering and rejoicing in the seeds of love that you sewed here, and enjoying the freedom of eternal bliss. In peace, love and remembrance. Cork’s wife, Tippi
