Carol Ann Doty – 80 – of 4 Green St., Canisteo, NY died Tuesday (November 19, 2024) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
Born in Woodhull on January 29, 1944, she was the daughter of Clifford & Velma (Strait) Doty.
Carol was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother who touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and love.
She was predeceased by her parents Clifford L. Doty, Sr. and Velma Irene (Strait) Doty; her daughter Grace Ann (Goodier) Sims; sisters Nancy L. (Doty) Baker and Mary E. (Doty) Stephens.
Carol is survived by her son Richard Goodier of St. George, SC; two daughters, Dina Shaw (Bryan) and Pamela Goodier (Tim) both of Corning, NY; brothers, Alan Doty and Clifford L. Doty, Jr. of Canisteo, NY; sisters Linda Atkins, Sharon Cardenas, Teresa Cardenas and Gloria Doty all of Arizona; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At Carol’s request there will be no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Carol’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Carol was a Kind loving Person with a very Gentile Personality, She Loved everyone , worked Hard & would always offer you a Drink or something to Eat when You stopped By Her Home , there wasn’t an unkind thing about Her , We Love You Carol & we’ll certainly miss You , GOD Bless You my Friend
