Karen A. “Kimmy” Tuttle – 70 – formerly of Wayland, NY, died Monday afternoon (January 12, 2026) at the Maple City Rehab Nursing Facility (formerly Hornell Gardens), where she had resided for the past two years.

Born in Canandaigua, NY on June 28, 1955, she was the daughter of Robert & Martha (Lapham) Willson.

Kimmy grew up in the Honeoye Falls / Conesus area and was a graduate of Livonia High School (class of 1973). She resided in Mt. Morris for about 20 years and lived in Colorado for several years. After returning from Colorado, Kimmy lived in Wayland for about 9 years.

She had been employed as a bus driver for ARC in Mt. Morris, NY.  A self-proclaimed “home body”, Kimmy enjoyed arts & crafts, sewing, painting and making
beautiful hand-made ornaments.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Tuttle; her sister, Cindy Johnston and her brother, Wally Willson.

Surviving are her twin sister, Katherine “Kate” Willson of Wayland; several nieces & nephews, including Andrea Burns of Rochester, Amanda Burns of Rochester and Rusty Johnston of Rochester; along with her great-niece, Elizabeth Nassivera.

At Kimmy’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.

Kimmy’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
