Barbara M. “Barb” Makeley – 83 – died Monday evening (January 12, 2026) at the Maple City Rehab Nursing Facility (formerly Hornell Gardens) where she had resided for the past four years.
Surviving are six children, David (Debbie) Jones, Jerry Jones, Jennifer Cotton, Jim Perry, Dale Perry and Bill Perry.
At Barb’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience or the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Barb’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
