We are so sorry that we were unable to pay our respects to Linda. As a fellow grandmother to Cameron, Taylor and Michael, I can attest to the loving care she gave to our grandchildren. The loss of Linda will leave a huge void in our lives, we will remember her laughter and good humor. Someday we will replace the grief with only memories of good times spent. Love to Mike, Sean, Andrea, and our grandsons. Joe and Gaynel Sonner

Thoughts and prayers to the Caruso & Parlave families. I met Linda in Jr. HS and graduated with her in 1968. She was so caring and kind and everyone loved her. She had a great sense of humor and so easy to talk to. I regret not seeing her on my many trips back to Hornell from Colorado. I will carry her loving spirit with me always.

So sorry to hear Linda passed. I remember Linda to be vivacious, energetic and kind in school. She was raised in a wonderful family so it is a given she would raise a wonderful family. I worked for her dad when he was night manager at Wegmans and he was a wonderful person and he knew he was lucky to have Linda and his daughter.

She was a pleasure to know and I know she will be missed greatly. My thoughts & prayers are with her loved ones, especially while they learn to live a new normal.

One day the entire class of ’68 will join Linda and those before her and we will have the best reunion ever because we will all be at peace.

Meanwhile, I will remember Linda and on these occasions I’m sure I will remember an event with her that will make me smile, as there were many.

My sincere condolences to the Caruso & Parlave families.

I am so sorry that I am unable to come home for Aunt Linda’s funeral service. I would like to express to Uncle Mike, Sean, Andrea, Cameron, Taylor, and Michael that I love you all! Aunt Linda was a wonderful woman and the best aunt.

One of the best memories that I have is when she did my hair like Princess Lea’s in the movie Star Wars. I thought I looked beautiful! Aunt Linda also would crochet Barbie clothes for me and that was very cool too!

Furthermore, some of my best memories were at Grandma Parlave’s house on Sundays after church. Aunt Linda would let me brush her hair, she would color with me, and we would all dance upstairs to Aunt Mary’s 45’s.

My heart is broken that Aunt Linda is gone, but I do have peace because I know that she is in heaven.
