Mrs. Weirick was my 3rd grade teacher. I have always included he as one if my most influential teachers. I still have impeccable handwriting due to her limitless strive for excellance and doing the very best we could.

I was also a student of Mrs. Weirick. I remember her as the sweetest woman and certainly one of the best teachers that I have ever had. A very kind and caring woman yet able to be stern enough to get the very best in behavior and skill from her students. There should be more teachers in this world like her.

    Dear Jane,
We were sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. We stopped to see her during October 2009 when we were in Hornell. Had a nice visit.

She graduated with my sister, Betty Jean VanGorder Lacy, who died on April 29th in California.

    Our thoughts are with you,
    Pauline and Joe
